Mother's Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day.  My mom was able to fly out from N.C.  I woke up to Mikayla making Mimi & I lemon poppy seed muffins.  They were delicious.  We all got ready for church and I was surprised to see Derk's name on the program.  He gave a beautiful & humurous talk.  I am so grateful for him and all he does for me and the girls.  The girls gave me a gift card to buy some frames that I want to get for their new photos.  After church my mom and I took off for a night away.  We went down to Thanksgiving Point and spent the night.  We spent all day Monday shopping.  It was fun.  We hit every boutique we could think of and bought some fun things.  We also got some great decorating ideas.  I am so grateful for my mom and the wonderful example she is to me.  She helps me so much when she is here.  I am also grateful to be a mother and for my girls.  I am truly blessed to be able to be a mother.  I am also grateful to be healthy another year and able to care for them.  My family is the joy of my life!
