Syracuse Heritage Day Parade

Saturday was the Heritage Day's parade. Mikayla was in the parade with her cheer team.

Sleepy Lou!

Many of you know that our little Lauren is an early riser. And when I say early that is everyday of the week between 5am and 6am. Well this morning was no exception. She woke up early and Derk put her in the shower. She got out and I helped her find her clothes and then I got in the shower. She was supposed to get her teeth brushed and her sock and shoes on. This is how I found her when I got out of the shower. I wish she would just sleep in! Sweet Girl.

Cheerleader!

After much hard work Mikayla made a cheer squad today. We are very proud of her. She really has been commited to this and has worked very hard. Congratulations Mikayla!

Another Project

I also have been looking for some sort of window covering for my kitchen. I saw this idea at a boutique and copied it. I think it is nice.

A Few Decorating Projects

I have been looking for a wreath for my front door for a while. They were all too expensive so I decided to make my own. Here it is. It came out to be about 1/3 the cost.
