Mikayla turns 13

Yes,I know you can't beleive that we have a 13 year old? Mikayla is now a teenager. Uh Oh. No, she is a great kid. Here are some photos from her big day.

The Police

Saturday night Derk and I were invited to the Usana Amphitheatre by his boss to see The Police in concert. I have to be honest and say that I really was not very excited about it, but I had a really great time. His boss had rented a limo so we rode in style. We entered in the VIP entrance and had dinner before hand. Elvis Costello was the opening act he was ok, but when The Police entered the crowed went crazy. Considering how long they have been around, they can still put on a great show. Sting was Awesome! He showed a slide show of some children from other countries. It was really touching. I think it is really cool all of the humanitarian work he has done. Sorry we didn't get very good photos. They were taken with a phone.

Happy Anniversary!

Wow, I can't believe it has been 15 years. I am so grateful to have you in my life. Thanks for supporting me and sticking with me through all of my illness crap! I never would have thought on that beautiful day in the Washington DC temple that I could ever love you more but I do love you more each day we are together. I thank Heavenly Father that he put us in each other's paths. Who would have thought 15 years ago that a little girl from N.C. would still be living out here? I couldn't have asked for anything more! I love you with all my heart. I look forward to our eternity together!

Fourth of July Weekend

4th of July weekend in Idaho Falls

We had a great weekend with the Kapp Family in Idaho Falls. We went to the prade and had a picnic in the park. Later we watched the fabulous firework display from our hotel lawn. The kids swam and swam! Lauren was so brave this time. She jumped in several time without her swimming vest. Mikayla had a lot of fun with her cousins and She and her cousin Kylie are staying for this next week with her grandma. Thanks Harold & Joanne for all you do for the family. We had a great visit!

Make up

My friend Trish used to sell Mary Kay and she gave me a bunch of samples that she didn't want. I let Lauren play with a few of them yesterday. This is what she came up with.

Porter Grant Ratchford

Here is our newest arrival on the Chapman side of the family. Porter Grant Ratchford was born 07/02/08. He was 6 lbs 13 oz and 21 inches long. Katie and baby Porter are doing well. Isn't he beautiful! Congratulation Brent & Katie. He is adorable! I can't wait until the end of the month to see him.
