Grandparents Day at School with Lauren

Lauren had a fabulous day with her Grandma and Grandpa Kapp on Monday. It was Grandparent's day at her school. She called Grandma the week before to ask her to come. Grandpa has had some health problems and is awaiting knee surgery so I told her that they may not be able to come. Well... Grandma said she would come for sure and then Grandpa surprised us and came too! Lauren was so excited about her day with them. She made cute shirts for them out of paper and decorated them so cute. Inside she wrote a letter to each of them.

Letter to Gma

Dear Grandma
I love when we drink water!?
I like when we play!
I like when we rook.
(That was supposed to spell rock. She loves to rock with Gma in the rocking chair.)
I like to have fun.
I like to sleep at your house.

This is one of my favorite photos taken a few years ago when we were playing a white elephant game. My nephew had gotten a metal santa decoration and my brother had just opened a tool set. My nephew wanted to trade his santa decoration. ha ha ha.
