Hilton Head Photos

We were able to enjoy another fabulous trip with the Chapman family. This year we all went to Hilton Head, SC. We stayed in a beach house with everyone. There were 9 adults and 7 children. Full house but it was a blast. The kids had there own cute little room and everyone else had there own bedroom. It was such a great time and beautiful weather. Thanks Mimi and Poppy for a great vacation!

Easter Hunt

Saturday morning I took Lauren to the Syracuse City Easter egg hunt, Mikayla is too big for the hunt now ;-(. It is basically a few soccer fields at a local park where they scatter eggs on the ground. Not much of a hunt. Anyway, there were soooo many kids. THOUSANDS. Lauren was dissapointed becasue she only got a few eggs. Wal Mart sponsored it and donated the candy and prizes. The candy was old Valentine candy. ha ha. Lauren found an egg with a peice of paper in it. It read..Go to the bowery for a large teddy bear. She was excited about that. We went over and the bear was a big red Valentine bear. LOL. She said, "What the heck Mom?". After that we went and check out the fire truck. She really enjoyed that part. I think the Easter bunny made up for the dissapointing egg hunt on Sunday morning. When she woke up on Sunday morning Mikayla went in and told her that the Easter bunny had come Lauren said, "I know I heard him hopping in the night." She is still sticking to that story although she doesn't wear her hearing aids to sleep and wouldn't be able to hear anything LOL. She is a funny girl.

Spring Recital

Las Vegas National Cheer Competition

We went to Las Vegas for Mikayla's cheer competition. It was alot of fun! On our way down we stopped in Cedar City and had lunch with one of my old friends Jammie. I hadn't seen her in about 10 years so it was so nice to visit with her and see her cute daughters. My Mom, Sister, and Brother in Law suprised Mikayla and came to Las Vegas too! They flew in to LV from North Carolina. We had a great time. Mikayla's team took 3rd place. They were only 1/2 of a point from 2nd. They really were awesome. Mikayla has really worked hard this past year. We are really proud of her! Here are some pics from our long weekend in Vegas.
