Christmas Morning 2008

We had a great Christmas. We had a great time with family and friends this year. We had many opportunities to serve others around us and help teach our children the true meaning of Christmas. We were humbled by many of these experiences and realize how truly blessed we are. We are grateful for our Saviour and as we celebrated his birth and remembered his sacrifice for us we remebered all of you near and far and the love we have for you. Merry Christmas!

Santa & Mrs. Claus

Lauren and her friend Wyatt had an exciting day at school today. The were able to wear their p.j.'s to school and pretended like they were on the Polar Express. Well, the fun kept on going when they came home. Wyatt's little brother was sick so he and Lauren decided to dress up and take him gifts. They tore my house apart trying to find some things to make themselves in to Santa and Mrs. Claus. They were so cute. They made the cutest little gifts for him too. What an imagination those two have.

Lauren went to visit Santa a few weeks ago at the mall. She proceded to tell him what she wanted.

Yes MARBLES, we are still laughing about that. Not sure were she came up with marbles.
So, The other day I told her that we were going to a church Christmas party and that Santa was going to visit. She said, "Oh, good I am going to ask him if he remembers what I want. I want to see if he is a 'reminderer' or a 'forgeter'" I thought uh oh... I said, "Well it may just be Santa's helper because he is really busy right now getting everything ready for Christmas." She said, "Oh, Well I will ask him and if he 'forgot his mind' then I will tell him again."
